Nominations are being accepted for members to run for election to the NICA Board of Directors. Three Board seats are up for election. Board Members are expected to take an active role in managing NICA and submitting articles and information for the newsletter. This means you must also be willing to take an active role on committees during the year and assist with other duties as needed. You are also expected to participate in five to six Board of Directors meetings each year. These meetings can last two to three hours each and are held via telephone conference. All Board Members are also expected to take an active role in working to further the Association’s objectives.
Those interested in applying for the Board should complete the following application, including a separate sheet listing (in 50 words or less) qualifications, background and reasons for wishing to serve as a board member. The names of all applicants will be submitted to a vote of the membership by ballot via eblast and a clickable link will be on the website.
