Business Membership Drive
NICA would like to start advertising ice sculptures on a national scale in order to help out businesses members. We would like to run adds in major national bridal publications and advertise direct to your customers to help peak their interest in ice sculpture. I think you can all see how this will benefit you further down the line.
These adds are in excess of $10,000 and at this time is something the organization can not afford. I would like to start a Business Membership Drive starting November 1, 2009.
As of now the business membership for NICA is only $250. Anyone can and still will be able to have a business membership for the price of $250. If however, you want to be a part of our business membership drive the cost will be $400 and the additional $150 will be set aside into an advertising fund to make these national adds actually happen.
We will also use this money to travel around to various trade show venues and national conferences to push the Find-A-Sculptor page directly to caterers, chefs and event planners.
This add will promote our Find-A-Sculptor section of the web site and increase traffic to those who are business members.
In addition any business member that becomes a part of this membership drive will be permitted to put a picture on their Find-A-Sculptor listing. That will deffinately draw some people to your add. If you are already a business member than contact the front office and request to be part of this drive and send in $150.
The Find-A-Sculptor section is already proven to be the best reason to become a business member and provides a great link opportunity for your personal web sites. Even if you do not think you are getting business from this link, then look at it another way. The spiders are what search engines use to crawl through web sites when they are searching for key words. It is very important for your web site to have multiple links to reputable sites like NICA’s in order to enhance your search engine optimization.
If all the carvers that own businesses that have a carver’s membership switched over to the business membership the organization would have more than $10,000 of additional income. This business drive membership is only $400 and is something that will help yourself, NICA and the industry as a whole.
