Hometown : Currently reside in Westerville, OH, by way of Charleston, WVa.
Basic Info : Born and raised in WV. I have pursued many different interests in a wide array of Art mediums for over 14 years, from glass blowing to graphic illustration, before being introduced to Ice Carving. As a student of culinary school, I was given the opportunity to learn carving and absolutely love it. There is a rare breed of people whom tough the weather and conditions to create wonderful sculptures, and I am glad I have had the opportunity to work with some of them, and look forward to continued progress. I have always been creative and loved to travel. Ice carving has given me a huge outlet for such creativity while being able to see new towns and cities all over America, and one day, I hope to represent America in the winter Olympics along side such Master Carvers as Greg Butauski , with my always supportive family cheering me on.
I apprenticed under Greg Butauski and competed in the Collegiate Nationals and a few other regional events. I placed second as an Amateur in Branson, MO and I won the Amateur in Waterviet, MI. Every competition entered was a bronze medal result for me. Next year you will see me at the National Ice Carving Championships.
