Eric is a Certified Executive Chef Thru The American Culinary Federation and is 45 years old, married to wife Carolyn and has a daughter Christine. He has been the Chef at the Medallion Country Club for the past ten years. Eric has also been a member of NICA since 1990 and loves to compete in ice and food competitions. He is a self taught ice carver and his first carving was in 1986. It was an eagle on a ball. He learns best by watching and working with others. He enjoys making things with his hands whether it be food, ice or even wood. In his spare time he works on the house or on his muscle car, a 1968 Buick GS. Eric also likes making ice carving tools like lay out jigs and nail boards, so if you need a nice hand crafted one then give him a call.
Bud Light Horse carved in Plymouth, MI by Eric Pfaff and Greg Butauski. Erics favorite design.
Hand crafted Nail boards made by Eric himself. Each one comes with a carrying case!
Based on the Steve Brice design (both the lay out jig and nail board) this jig is hand crafted and lasts forever! (A really long time) They come in different lengths. Great investment.
Eric carves pieces for his country clubs’ Sunday brunches and other special occasions in order to keep his hands wet with practice!
