Certification

The NICA National Certification Program was started to provide ice carvers with professional recognition in the industry. NICA certification achievements are given to those who earn points in public relations, carving experience, education, professional activities, NICA & ACF competitions, and judging experience. Once certified, you will receive a certificate that will distinguish which level of certification you have achieved.

If you are a chef it is important to know that the ACF will honor NICA competitions, seminars and our trade show for CEH continuing education hours. In return NICA honors all ACF competitions towards our system and acccepts their ice carving medals as well.

NICA is the foremost expert on ice sculpting, and along with this responsibility comes our ability to set the standards in the industry and certify ice carvers. We have multiple levels of certification, they are:

Certified Master Ice Carver C.M.I.C.

Certified Professional Ice Carver C.P.I.C.

Certified Ice Carving Educator I.C.E.

Certified Ice Carver C.I.C.

Certified Lead Judge C.L.J.

Certified Ice Technician C.I.C.T.
