Ice Carving Goals
This website will be geared toward educating professional ice carvers, chefs, and novice carvers on how to hone their ice carving skills. We will provide information for basic skills like freezing techniques and precision cutting all the way through to 3D sculpting.
We will also encourage the business carvers to share their complex designs and present some out of the box ideas for your future clients.

It was a great venue once again as our members proved that the sharing of knowledge is the best way to help the industry grow. Thanks to everyone who attended this year. We will have more information about the next trade show very soon.
Special thank you should go out to Jeff Petercsak for organizing and planning the event. You did a great job!

Did you know he made his own CNC machine!
Would you like to be a part of our Business Membership Drive!
NICA is raising money to start an advertising fund for a national campaign. All money raised for this fund will go directly to advertising for your personal business.
If we all pull together we will have a stronger advertising dollar and voice to be heard. We can create a buzz in the industry on a national scale to start driving people to bye ice sculptures instead of wilting flowers!
All Certified Lead Judges will be required to meet in a judges meeting via phone conference in order to maintain their eligibility for the up coming competition season.
We have also had some changes on competition rules.
More information to come.
New Judging Standards!

Glen Motley introduced as a new member to the NICA Hall Of Fame!
Alice Connelly surrounded by men before entering Minus 5 Lounge! Even better all the guys took up a collection so Alice could go and gamble. No one knows how the money was really spent!
Dean Carlson working hard on programing that Ice Sculpt CNC machine. Some of the features he has added to that machine are really great. If you can see the styrofoam fish in the picture then you know Dean offers those to his clients for rental! Joking, it’s a demo piece.
